The RITAG type ZRD is suitable for processing plants in pipeline systems
of all industrial sectors, for gases and liquids. The seat can be designed
either metal-to-metal (an abrasion-proof treatment of body and plates is
recommended for carbon steel materials) or with elastic sealing (especially
if high tightness is required).
Optimum dynamic performance is produced by means of the two check
valve plates. By installing the valves in horizontal pipelines, the mass
of the two check valve plates is negligible, i.e. the pressure loss
is less compared to check valve plates whose mass has to be raised.
This ZRD type has got only one stuffing box to protect the environment and
two independent springs providing a high functional effect.
