The RITAG type ZRK is suitable for use in pipeline systems, mainly cooling
water systems. Due to a very short face-to-face dimension the body has a
reduced bore. Normal flow direction is horizontal, i. e. medium has to lift
the flap/-weight. This type is not recommended for processing plants. The
RITAG swing check valve is virtually maintenance-free. The seat can be
designed either metal-to-metal or with elastic sealing. The flap is self-
centering and protected and it has a special limit stop to protect against
pipeline damage. The ZRK model is also available in other materials
(such as Hastelloy).
The RITAG ZRL-HG type with a shaft passing to the outside of the body is
suitable for use in pipeline systems of all industrial sectors for gases and
liquids - in compliance with the maximum permissible differential pressures.
This type is not recommended for processing systems.
